Telangana govt effects major bureaucratic reshuffle; N Sridhar appointed Principal Secretary to CM

The Telangana government on Friday (June 26, 2026) effected a major bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring and assigning fresh responsibilities to more than a dozen officers. The most significant change in the exercise is the appointment of senior IAS officer N Sridhar (IAS:1997:TG) as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Sabyasachi Ghosh (IAS:1994:TG), Special Chief Secretary, Implementation of Flagship Welfare & Development Schemes Unit and Corporate Social Responsibility, has been placed in FAC of the post of Special Chief Secretary, Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts, I&C Department. He is placed in FAC of the posts of Director, Handlooms & Textiles, VC & MD, TG Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd and Managing Director, TGCO. He will continue to hold the FAC of posts of Special Chief Secretary, Tribal Welfare Department and Welfare.
2. Shailaja Ramaiyer (IAS:1997:TG), Principal Secretary (Endowments), Revenue Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Environment, Forests, Science & Technology (EFS&T) Department, vice Ahmad Nadeem (IAS:1997:TG). She has also been placed in FAC of the post of Principal Secretary to Government (Endowments), Revenue Department and Director General, EPTRI.
3. Ahmad Nadeem (IAS:1997:TG), Principal Secretary, Environment, Forests, Science & Technology (EFS&T) Department, has been posted as Principal Secretary, (Political), General Administration Department (GAD), He has also been placed in FAC of the post of Principal Secretary to Government, Minorities Welfare Department.
4. N Sridhar (IAS:1997:TG), Principal Secretary (Mines & Geology), Industries & Commerce Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister.
5. Rahul Bojja (IAS:2000:TG) has been posted as Principal Secretary (Disaster Management), Revenue Department. He will also continue to hold the FAC of the post of Principal Secretary, BC Welfare Department.
6. M Raghunandan Rao (IAS:2002:TG), Secretary (CT & Excise), Revenue Department, has been placed in FAC of the post of Secretary, (Mines & Geology), Industries & Commerce Department.
7. B Ajith Reddy (IDES:2012), Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Invest Telangana, I&C Department.
8. Md Musharraf Ali Faruqui (IAS:2014:TG), Chairman & Managing Director, Telangana Rythu Power Distribution Company Limited (TGRPDCL), has been placed in FAC of the post of Vice Chairman & Managing Director, TGREDCO.
9. P Katyayani Devi (IAS:2017:TG), Joint Managing Director, State Finance Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary (Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts), I&C Department. She has also been placed in FAC of the post of Joint Managing Director, State Finance Corporation.
10. K Gangadhar (IAS:2021:TG), Executive Director, TGRERA, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary (R&B), Transport, Roads & Buildings Department.
11. T Venkanna, Joint Metropolitan Commissioner (Core Urban Region & Metro Rail), HMDA, has been transferred and posted as Municipal Commissioner, Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC), Warangal.
12. K Vidyasagar, Joint Director (Administration), SSLR, working as OSD to the Chief Secretary, has been transferred and posted as Director, Tourism. He has also been placed in FAC of the post of State Nodal Officer, Prajavani.
13. K Chandrakala, Zonal Commissioner, GHMC, Shamshabad, has been placed in FAC of the post of Joint Metropolitan Commissioner (Core Urban Region, Land Pooling & Metro Rail), HMDA.
