Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday honored Anand Kumar, U.P Additional Director-General ( Law & Order) and Prashant Kumar, ADG Meerut Zone for their exemplary services.
These senior police officers were awarded for “Outstanding Leadership and Strategic Planning” at the ‘Shaurya Samman’ event organized to mark one year of Yogi government.
Strategic planning and leadership subsumes broad areas of policing that includes crime control, community policing, traffic management, and training and research.
With this award, the Yogi government has recognized the significant role of ADGs Anand Kumar and Prashant Kumar in adopting a holistic approach to the policing in Uttar Pradesh, bringing down crime, maintaining law and order, and efficient planning and implementation for effective policing in the state.
A total of 17 U.P police offices were felicitated by the Chief Minister at the ‘Shaurya Samman’ ceremony.
43 IPS officers Transferred in UP
In a major reshuffle, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath government transferred 43 Indian Police Service officers late on Saturday night.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gorakhpur Satyarth Anirudhh Pankaj has been moved as SP Karmik, UP police headquarters, Allahabad, while Ms Padmaja Chauhan, Inspector General of Police (IG) , Karmik, Lucknow will be IG, UP police promotion and recruitment board, Lucknow.
Luv Kumar, DIG, SSP Gautambudhh Nagar will be DIG Prison administration, Chandra Prakash DIG, SP Badaun will be DIG PTS Unnao, Pretinder Singh DIG, SSP Moradabad will be DIG prison administration, Vaibhav Krishna SSP Etawah will replace HN Singh SSP Ghaziabad, who will be Commandant PAC Moradabad and Dr Ajay Pal SP Shamli will be SSP Gautam Budhh Nagar.
Devranjan Verma, SP LIU Faizabad will be SP Shamli, Santosh Kumar PAC Commandant Gonda will replace Shagun Gautam, SP Pratapgarh who will take charge of SP at police headquarters, Allahabad, Ashok Kumar SP PTS Meerut will be SSP Badaun, Lallan Singh, commandant special zone security unit, Lucknow will replace Umesh Kumar Singh, SP Gonda who will take charge of SP Bijnor.
Prabhakar Chaudhary, SP Bijnore will replace Swapnil Mamgai, SSP Mathura who will take charge of commandant PAC Meerut, Rahul Raj SP, crime, police headquarter DG, Lucknow will replace Anil Kumar SP, Ballia who will take charge of commandant special zone security unit, Lucknow, Salman Taj Patil, SP Lalitpur will be SP technical services and Dr OP Singh will be SP Lalitpur.(UNI)
Deepak Agarwal, new Divisional Commissioner, Varanasi
In the latest reshuffle in U.P administration, Deepak Agarwal has been transferred to Varanasi as Divisional Commissioner. A 2000 batch IAS officer, Deepak Agarwal’s new posting in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s constituency is being seen significant as he brings with him a vast administrative experience. Prior to this, Mr. Agarwal was the Divisional Commissioner, Saharanpur.
UP:37 IAS transferred including Gorakhpur DM
The Yogi Adityanath Government in Uttar Pradesh transferred 37 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Five commissioners, Gorakhpur District Magistrate (DM) Rajiv Rautela, including DM of 17 districts were transferred.
K Vijayendra Pandian has been brought in place of Rajiv Rautela as new Gorakhpur DM, while Rautela has been made the divisional commissioner of Devipatan division.
Rajiv Kapoor, who was awaiting posting, has been made chairman of the Pradeshiya Industrial & Investment Corporation of UP Ltd (PICUP), while Alok Sinha has been made additional chief secretary of commercial and entertainment tax.
Anoop Chandra Pandey, who is IIDC commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary Institutional Finance department and also chairman, Greater Noida, has been given additional charge of additional chief secretary infrastructure and industrial development and NRI department.
Deepak Agarwal, Commissioner of Saharanpur Division has been made the new divisional commissioner of Varanasi.Replacing Deepak Agarwal, Chandra Prakash Tripathi has been made the new Saharanpur divisional commissioner.
K Ravindra Naik, commissioner of Azamgarh has been replaced by SVS Ranga Rao, who was earlier the Devipatan divisional commissioner of Gonda district in UP.
District Magistrate of Bareilly Raghvendra Singh has been made a special secretary.
Azamgarh DM Chandra Bhushan Singh has been made the new DM of Aligarh.
Shivakant Dwivedi, Chitrakoot DM replaced Chandra Bhushan Singh and became the new DM of Azamgarh.
