Mona Kumari Jain (IA&AS:2013), who has been recommended for central deputation by the Office of the Controller and Auditor General of India, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoSPI).
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (July 16, 2026), his appointment is done under the central staffing scheme for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
