New Delhi: 2007-batch Uttarakhand cadre IAS officer Neeraj Kharwal, Managing Director of India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), has been given additional charge of Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO), India International Convention & Exhibition Centre Limited (IICCL).
According to a Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) order issued on Friday (September 11, 2026), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) to entrust Kharwal with the additional charge for six months from the date of assumption of charge, or until regular appointment to the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Kharwal succeeds Rajat Kumar Saini (IAS:2007:CG), Managing Director & CEO of the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC), who was holding the IICCL post in additional capacity.
