New Delhi: IAS officer Himanshu Khurana (IAS:2015:UK) has been appointed Deputy Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat for a period of four years.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (October 9, 2026), the competent authority has approved his appointment for four years from the date he assumes charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Khurana is currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Forest Department of the Uttarakhand government.
