New Delhi: The Centre on Thursday (September 10, 2026) assigned additional charges to two senior IAS officers, Sudhansh Pant (IAS:1991:RJ) and Rajendra Kumar (IAS:1992:TN), during the leave period of two senior officers.
Pant, currently serving as Secretary, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the additional charge will be with Pant from September 12, 2026 to October 4, 2026, during the period of absence on leave of V Vidyavathi (IAS:1991:KN).
Similarly, Rajendra Kumar, currently serving as Secretary, Department of Border Management, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Inter State Council Secretariat. His additional charge will be from September 11, 2026 to September 20, 2026, during the period of absence on leave of Ashish Srivastava (IAS:1992:MP).
