Senior IAS officer Sudhansh Pant (IAS:1991:RJ), Secretary, Department of Justice and Empowerment, has been assigned additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI).
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (May 22, 2026), the competent authority has approved the assignment of the additional charge with immediate effect till May 31, 2026.
He will hold the additional responsibility during the leave period of Saurabh Garg (IAS:1991:OR), who is currently serving as Secretary, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
