M Angamuthu gets additional charge of Cochin Port Authority Chairperson

New Delhi: IAS Officer M Angamuthu (IAS:2002:AM), Chairperson of the Mumbai Port Authority, has been given additional charge of Chairperson (Joint Secretary level), Cochin Port Authority.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (August 19, 2026), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways to entrust the additional charge to Angamuthu for a period of six months with effect from June 20, 2026, or until appointment of a regular incumbent, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
