Santosh Kumar Tiwari appointed Director, Lokpal

Santosh Kumar Tiwari (ISS:2011), who was recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, has been selected for appointment as Director in the Lokpal for a period of five years.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (August 19, 2026), his appointment has been made under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
