New Delhi: Yuvraj Ravindra Patil (IRTS:2012), Director in the Lokpal, has been appointed as Director in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) on a lateral shift basis.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (August 19, 2026), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the recommendation of the Civil Services Board (CSB) to appoint him to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme on lateral shift basis for a tenure up to March 15, 2027, i.e. the balance period of his five-year deputation tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme at Director level, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Notably, Patil has been serving in the Lokpal since March 2022, when he assumed charge as Deputy Secretary. In January 2026, he was re-designated as Director in the Lokpal.
