The deputation tenure of Vijayendra Bidari (IPS:2005:TN) as Joint Director in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been extended for six months. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (29.07.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Bidari for six months beyond 18.07.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
