Shreya Bhardwaj (IOFS:2012), Deputy Secretary in the Department of Higher Education, has been granted a one-year extension in her central deputation tenure.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (July 3, 2026), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal to extend her deputation tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of one year beyond December 25, 2026, i.e. up to December 25, 2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
