Pankaj Pandey has been appointed as Director (Operations) at Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL). He is currently serving as Executive Director (TBCB) at PGCIL.
According to a regulatory filing by Power Grid, the Ministry of Power conveyed his appointment through an order dated October 30, 2026.
Pandey’s appointment will take effect from the date he assumes charge of the post on or after December 1, 2026. He will succeed Naveen Srivastava, who is due to superannuate on November 30, 2026.
His tenure will continue until June 30, 2030, the date of his superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
On August 29, 2026, the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) recommended Pandey’s name to the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) for approval after interviewing 12 candidates for the position.
