Assam : 19 bureaucrats transferred

The Assam government on Tuesday (12.07.2022) issued transfer and posting orders for 19 senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and state civil service officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Ashish Kumar Bhutani (IAS:1992:AM), Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture Department and State Project Director, ARIAS Society and Agriculture Production Commissioner for class-III posts is relieved from the additional charge of of State Project Director, ARIAS Society. He is also given additional charge of Chairman of ARIAS Society.
2. Akash Deep (IAS:2005:AM), Commissioner & Secretary, PHE Deptt., MD, Swacch Bharat Mission (Gramin), Director, Neer Nirmal Pariyojana & MD, Jal Jeevan Mission, Assam, is transferred and posted as Commissioner & Secretary, Environment and Forest Department.
3. Dr Om Prakash (IAS:2006:AM), Commissioner & Secretary, Agriculture and Environment & Forest Departments is transferred and posted as Mission Director, SSA Mission, Assam.
4. Roshni Aparanji Korati (IAS:2011:AM), Mission Director, SSA Mission, is transferred and posted as Secretary, Agriculture Department with additional charge of State Project Director, ARIAS Society.
5. Khanindra Choudhary (ACS:DR-92), Secretary to Chief Minister is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Goalpara.
6. Tej prasad Bhusal (ACS:DR-92), Deputy Commissioner, Barpeta is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Home & Political Department.
7. Meenakshi Das Nath (ACS: DR-92), Deputy Commissioner, Goalpara, is transferred and posted as Director, Cultural Affairs with additional charge of Director, Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Regional Govt Film and Television Institute.
8. Dr Debajit Khanikar (ACS:DR-93), Director, Cultural Affairs with additional charge of Director, Dr Bhupen Hazarika Regional Govt Film and Television Institute is transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Tourism Department.
9. J Keerthi (IAS:2013:AM), Deputy Commissioner, Cachar, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup and CEO, Guwahati Biotech Park and CEO, Assam Biotechnology Council.
10. Kailash Karthik N (IAS:2013:AM), Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup, & CEO, Guwahati Biotech Park and CEO, Assam Biotechnology council is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department with additional charge of MD, Swacch Bharat Mission (Gramin), Director, Neer Nirmal Pariyojana & MD, Jal Jeevan Mission.
11. Rohan Kumar Jha (IAS:2015:AM), Deputy Commissioner, Hailakandi, Assam is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Cachar.
12. Hivare Nisarg Gautam (IAS:2015:AM), Joint Secretary, Revenue & DM Department, and Joint CEO, ASDMA is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Chirang and Secretary, Bodoland Territorial Regions.
13. Aayush Garg (IAS:2016:AM), Deputy Commissioner, Baksa and Secretary, Bodoland Territorial Region, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Barpeta.
14. Narendra Kumar shah (IAS:2016:AM), Deputy Commissioner, Chirang and Secretary, Bodoland Territorial Region is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Nagaon.
15. Masanda Magdalin Pertin (IAS:2018:AM), ADC i/c Gossaigaon is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Baksa and Secretary, Bodoland Territorial Region.
16. Laxmi Kutum (ACS:DR-99), ADC, South Salmara Mankachar will officiate as Deputy Commissioner, South Salmara Mankachar tll the return of Pallavi Sarkar (IAS:2017:AM) from leave.
17. Mukesh Ch. Sahu (IAS:1996:AM), Principal Secretary, Social Welfare, WPT & BC and Welfare of Bodoland Departments is transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Department of Women and Child Development. He will also hold the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment, Tribal Affairs (Plain) and Welfare of Bodoland Department.
18. Partha Pratim Majumdar (IAS-SCS:2010), Registrar, Cooperative Societies and Secretary, Social Welfare Department, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Women and Child Development Department.
19. Binita Pegu (IAS-SCS:2010) Secretary, WPT & BC and Environment & Forests Departments and State Inquiry Officer is transferred and posted as Secretary, Department of Tribal Affairs (Plain). She will also hold the additional charge of Secretary, Social Justice & Empowerment, Environment & Forests Department and State Inquiry Officer.
