WB: Six IAS officers shifted, Surendra Gupta gets charge of Commissioner, Presidency Division

The West Bengal government on Wednesday (08.11.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for six IAS officers

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Surendra Gupta (IAS:1997:WB), Principal Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department, has been given additional charges of Commissioner, Presidency Division and Commissioner, Burdwan Division.
2. Binod Kumar (IAS:1996:WB), Municipal Commissioner, Kolkata Municipal Corporation, has been given additional charge of CEO, KMDA.
3. Vijay Bharti (IAS:2005:WB), CEO, KMDA with additional charges of Commissioner, Presidency Division and Commissioner, Burdwan Division. has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Public Enterprises & Industrial Reconstruction Department.
4. Mahua Banerjee (IAS:2009:WB), Senior Special Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, has been transferred and posted as Senior Special Secretary, Consumer Affairs Department.
5. Aneesh Das Gupta (IAS:2016:WB), OSD to Chief Secretary and Under Secretary, Home and Hills Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional District Magistrate, South 24 Parganas.
6. Avneet Punia (IAS:2017:WB), Additional District Magistrate, Jhargram, has been transferred and posted as OSD to Chief Secretary and Under Secretary, Home and Hills Department.
