In a significant development, five officers from the Indian Revenue Service (C&IT) have been elevated to the rank of Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes against the panel year 2023.
The officers who have earned promotion are:
- Ashok Kumar
- Saroj Kumar Behara
- Raut Pandurang Kondiram
- Rajiv Magoo
- K Padmavathy
Their regular posting will be decided in due course with the approval of the Competent Authority. Till then, they shall assume the charge of the promotional post on in situ (as is where is) basis.
