Chennai: The Tamil Nadu government on Wednesday (October 28, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for 18 IAS officers across the state. Among the key changes, Dr Monica Rana has been appointed District Collector of Tenkasi, C Muthukumaran has been posted as District Collector of Tiruppur, and S Peasanna Ramasamy has been appointed District Collector of Karur.
The details of the officers and their new postings are as follows:
- SP Karthikaa, Chief Executive Officer, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA), Chennai, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Social Welfare and Women Empowerment Department.
- S Valarmathi, Additional Secretary, Social Welfare and Women Empowerment Department, has been transferred and posted as Director, Rehabilitation and Welfare of Non-Resident Tamils.
- R Sadheesh, Director, Rehabilitation and Welfare of Non-Resident Tamils, has been transferred and posted as Director, Sericulture, Salem.
- Dr Monica Rana, Commissioner, Corporation of Tirunelveli, has been transferred and posted as District Collector, Tenkasi.
- C Muthukumaran, District Collector, Karur, has been transferred and posted as District Collector, Tiruppur.
- S Peasanna Ramasamy, Deputy Secretary to the Governor (Universities), Lok Bhawan, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as District Collector, Karur.
- Dr S Sangeetha, District Revenue Officer, Amma Unavagam, Greater Chennai Corporation, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as Mission Director, Integrated Child Development Services, Chennai.
- N Kalidoss, Zonal Officer-10, Greater Chennai Corporation, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as Additional Director (General), Directorate of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Chennai.
- R Venkateshwaran, Sub Collector, Karur Division, has been transferred and posted as Sub Collector, Chidambaram Division, Cuddalore district.
- K Santhi, Director-cum-Mission Director, Integrated Child Development Services, Chennai, has been transferred, and her services have been placed at the disposal of Overseas Manpower Corporation Limited for appointment as its Managing Director.
- Dr Manish S Narnaware, District Collector, Tiruppur, has been transferred, and his services have been placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu FibreNet Corporation Limited (TANINET) for appointment as its Managing Director.
- R Priya, Managing Director, Subramania Siva Cooperative Sugar Mills Limited, Dharmapuri, has been transferred, and her services have been placed at the disposal of Salem Starch and Sago Manufacturers’ Service Industrial Co-operative Society Limited (SAGOSERVE), Salem, for appointment as its Managing Director.
- R Rajakirubakaran, General Manager (Procurement), Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu, Chennai, has been transferred, and his services have been placed at the disposal of the corporation for appointment as its Executive Director.
- K Priya, Joint Director (Technical), Directorate of e-Governance, Chennai, has been transferred, and her services have been placed at the disposal of the Corporation of Tirunelveli for appointment as its Commissioner.
- M Manimegalai, General Manager, Tamil Nadu Ex-Servicemen Corporation (TEXCO), Chennai, has been transferred, and her services have been placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Watershed Development Agency, Chennai, for appointment as its Vice-Chairman/Managing Director.
- A Meena Priya Dharshini, Joint Director, Directorate of Children Welfare and Special Services, Chennai, has been transferred, and her services have been placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Small Tea Growers’ Industrial Cooperative Tea Factories’ Federation Limited (INCOSERVE), Coonoor, for appointment as its Managing Director.
- Dr T Sengattaiyan, Special District Revenue Officer (Land Acquisition), Highways, Chennai, has been transferred, and his services have been placed at the disposal of Chennai Metro Asset Management Limited (CMAML) for appointment as its Chief Executive Officer.
- S Shanthi, Joint Commissioner, Commissionerate of Prohibition and Excise, has been transferred, and her services have been placed at the disposal of Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) for appointment as its Chief Executive Officer.
