BPR&D IG Anupama Nilekar Chandra gets two years extension

The deputation tenure of Ms. Anupama Nilekar Chandra (IPS:1994:BH) as Inspector General (IG), Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D), has been extended for a period of two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to extend the tenure of Ms. Nilekar for a period of two years beyond 02.04.2022 and up to 02.04.2024 (total 7 years), in relaxation of the IPS tenure policy.
