Following Bhajanlal Sharma’s assumption of the Chief Minister’s office in Rajasthan, a prompt administrative restructuring unfolded on Friday within the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). Designated as a temporary arrangement, the administration appointed T Ravikanth (IAS:1998:RJ) as the Principal Secretary (PS) to the Chief Minister, succeeding Kuldeep Ranka (IAS:1998:RJ), the former PS to ex-Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Additionally, Ms. Anandhi (IAS:2007:RJ) assumed the role of Secretary to the Chief Minister, while Dr. Saumya Jha (IAS:2017:RJ) was appointed as Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Prior to these crucial appointments, Ravikanth held the position of Principal Secretary (Medical Education), Anandhi served as the IT and Communication Secretary, and Jha functioned as the CEO of Rajasthan Rural Livelihood Development Council.
Despite their new responsibilities, all three officers will retain their current positions, concurrently managing the additional charge.
