Amitabh Jain (IAS:1987:CG) has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh. He succeeds Rajendra Prasad Mandal (IAS:1987:CG), who retired from service on Monday after his tenure as chief secretary.
Prior to this appointment, he was posted as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Finance with additional charge of water resource department.
