The central deputation tenure of Amita Prasad Sarbhai (IRAS:1993) as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Culture has been extended for one year. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (23.07.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to extend the deputation tenure of Sarbhai for one year beyond 06.08.2024, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
