Senior IAS officer Anil Malik (IAS:1991:HY), Secretary in the Ministry of Women and Child Development, has been given additional charge of the post of Secretary in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (June 15, 2026), the competent authority has approved assignment of the additional charge to him from June 16, 2026 till July 1, 2026.
Malik has been entrusted with the additional responsibility during the period of absence on leave of Ranjana Chopra (IAS:1994:OR), who is serving as Secretary in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
