New Delhi: AGMUT cadre IAS officer Jitender Yadav (IAS:2010:AGMUT) has been assigned the additional charge of Director of Census Operations (DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration (DCR), Lakshadweep, at the Director level for three years.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (October 19, 2026), the competent authority has approved his appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme with effect from the date he assumes charge of the post, for three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Notably, Jitender Yadav is currently serving as Managing Director, Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC), with additional charge of Secretary (IT). The DCO/DCR post in Lakshadweep will remain with him on an additional-charge basis for the approved period.
