Vijayakumar J Jayaraman re-designated as Director in D/o Space

Vijayakumar J Jayaraman (IAS:2011:MP), currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Space, Bengaluru, has been re-designated as Director. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (26.12.2024), the competent authority has approved the proposal to re-designate Jayaraman’s post to Director level with effect from January 1, 2025, or the date he assumes charge of the post and for a period upto April 7, 2027 i.e. total tenure of five years under the central staffing scheme.

It is noteworthy that Vijayakumar J Jayaraman embarked on his central deputation tenure on April 8, 2022.
