Rupinder Singh (IAS:1996:MH), Deputy Director General (DDG), Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), has been given additional charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), UIDAI. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (24.07.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology regarding ex-post-facto approval for assignment of additional charge of the post to Mr. Singh with effect from 22.04.2023 till 18.06.2023.
