The tenure of Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha as Secretary in the Ministry of AYUSH has been extended for a period of two years on contract basis. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (09.06.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to extend the tenure of Kotecha for a period of two years beyond 28.06.2022 i.e. up to 28.06.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
