Three officers appointed as Joint Directors in CBI

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Wednesday (05.03.2025) approved proposal of Department of Personnel and Training to appoint three officers as Joint Directors in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). These officers were serving in CBI as DIGs.

The officers are;

1. Ashwin Shenvi (IPS:2006:HR), presently working as DIG in CBI, has been appointed as Joint Director in CBI for an overall tenure of five years up to September 9, 2025.
2. Sudha Singh (IPS:2006:OR), presently working as DIG in CBI, has been appointed as Joint Director in CBI for an overall tenure of seven years up to July 28, 2026.
3. Ashok Kumar (IRS-C&IT:2006), presently working as DIG in CBI, has been appointed as Joint Director in CBI for an overall tenure of seven years up to January 29, 2026.
