Sajjansingh R Chavan (IAS:2008:TN) was on Wednesday (24.11.2021) appointed to the post of Director of Census Operations (DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration (DCR) (Deputy Secretary level), Tamil Nadu & Puducherry. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, he has been appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period up to 31.12.2025 with effect from the date of taking charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
