Punjab : 21 IPS officers shifted, Arpit Shukla is new ADGP Law & Order

The Punjab government on Wednesday (31.08.2022) issued transfer and posting orders for 21 IPS officers across the state. New postings have been given to five Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) rank officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

  1. Ishwar Singh (IPS:1993:PB) : ADGP, HRD with additional charge of ADGP, Welfare, Punjab.
  2. Shashi Prabha (IPS:1993:PB) : ADGP, Railways, Punjab, Chandigarh.
  3. Arpit Shukla (IPS:1993:PB) : ADGP, Law & Order, Punjab.
  4. Praveen Sinha (IPS:1994:PB) : ADGP, Cyber Crime, SAS Nagar with additional charge of ADGP, NRI, Punjab, SAS Nagar.
  5. M F Farooqui (IPS:1995:PB) : ADGP, State Armed Police, Jalandhar Cantt., Jalandhar with additional charge of ADGP, Public Grievances, Punjab, Chandigarh.
  6. Naunihal Singh (IPS:1997:PB) : IGP, Personnel, Punjab, Chandigarh with additional charge of IGP, Crime, Punjab, Chandigarh.
  7. Shive Kumar Verma (IPS:1998:PB) : IGP, Law & Order with additional charge of IGP, Security, Punjab, Chandigarh.
  8. Kaustabh Sharma (IPS:2001:PB) : IGP, Human Rights, Chandigarh with additional charge of CP, Ludhiana.
  9. Harpreet Singh (IPS:2010:PB) : AIG, Armament, Chandigarh with additional charge of SSP Ludhiana.
  10. Damya Harish Kumar Omprakash (IPS:2014:PB) : SSP, Khanna.
  11. Ravi Kumar (IPS:2016:PB) : AIG, Counter Intelligence, Punjab, Chandigarh.
  12. Simrat Kaur (IPS:2016:PB) : AIG, Counter Intelligence, Patiala.
