UP govt transfers 5 IAS officers, posts new DMs in Jalaun and Bahraich

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday (September 10, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for five IAS officers, including the appointment of new District Magistrates in Jalaun and Bahraich.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Rajesh Kumar Pandey (IAS-SCS:2012), District Magistrate, Jalaun, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Bahraich.
2. Sameer (IAS:2015), Special Secretary, IT & Electronics Department and Managing Director, UPDESCO, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Jalaun.
3. Akanksha Rana (IAS:2017:UP), Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jhansi, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, IT & Electronics Department and Managing Director, UPDESCO.
4. B Suthan (IAS:2020:UP), Chief Development Officer, Barabanki, has been transferred and posted as Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jhansi.
5. Pankaj Verma (IAS-SCS:2011:UP), Secretary, Moradabad Development Authority, has been transferred and posted as Chief Development Officer, Barabanki.
