Chandigarh: The Haryana government on Thursday (September 3, 2026) transferred 29 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers and one Haryana Police Service (HPS) officer in a major police reshuffle, with five districts getting new Superintendents of Police (SPs).
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;
- Amitabh Singh Dhillon (IPS:1997:HY), ADGP, Modernization & Welfare (H), Panchkula, has been given additional charge of ADGP, ERSS and ADGP, Traffic & Highways (H).
- Vikas Kumar Arora (IPS:1998:HY), ADGP, Administration, PHQ (H), Panchkula; ADGP, ERSS & Traffic and Highways (H); and ADGP, Telecom (H), has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Administration, PHQ (H), Panchkula with additional charge of ADGP/Cyber, Telecom & IT (H) and Director, SCRB (H).
- Ashwin Shenvi (IPS:2006:HY), on return from central deputation, has been posted as IGP, Karnal Range, Karnal with additional charge of IGP, HAP, Madhuban.
- Ashok Kumar (IPS:2006:HY), IGP, Karnal Range, Karnal with additional charge of IGP, HAP, Madhuban, has been transferred and posted as IGP, PTC Sunaria.
- Lokender Singh (IPS:2014:HY), SP, Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) (H), has been transferred and posted as SP, Security, CID-1 (H) with additional charge of SP, Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) (H) and SP, Commando, Newal.
- Rajesh Kumar (IPS:2014:HY), SP, SCB (H), has been given additional charge of SP, Community Policing and Outreach & Scrutiny, Gurugram.
- Bhupinder Singh (IPS-SPS:2014:HY), SP, Panipat, has been transferred and posted as SP, Security, CID (H).
- Sumit Kumar (IPS-SPS:2014:HY), SP, Bhiwani, has been transferred and posted as SP, STF (H).
- Narendra Bijarniya (IPS:2015:HY), SP, Karnal, has been transferred and posted as SP, STF (H).
- Nitish Agarwal (IPS:2017:HY), SP, Palwal, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Crime, Gurugram.
- Upsana (IPS:2017:HY), SP, Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) (H), has been transferred and posted as SP, CID (H) with additional charge of SP, Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) (H).
- Varun Singla (IPS:2017:HY), SP, Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) (H), has been transferred and posted as SP, CID (H) with additional charge of SP, Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) (H).
- Medha Bhushan (IPS:2019:HY), DCP, East, Sonepat, has been transferred and posted as SP, Palwal.
- Deepak Kumar Jewaria (IPS:2019:HY), SP, Narnaul, has been transferred and posted as SP, Law & Order and SP, ERSS, Panchkula.
- Deepti Garg (IPS:2020:HY), DCP, Jhajjar, has been transferred and posted as SP, Panipat.
- Mayank Mishra (IPS:2020:HY), DCP, Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar, has been transferred and posted as SP, Bhiwani.
- Harish Jain (IPS:2021:HY), awaiting posting, has been posted as SP, Telecom (H) & IT and SP, Community Policing & Social Outreach, Panchkula.
- Frabina P (IPS:2020:HY), DCP, Manesar, with additional charge of Commandant 4th IRB, Manesar, has been transferred and posted as SP, Narnaul.
- Faisal Khan (IPS:2022:HY), Additional SP, Narnaul, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Jhajjar.
- Ayush Yadav (IPS:2022:HY), Additional SP, Rohtak, has been transferred and posted as DCP, East, Sonepat with additional charge of SP, HSNCB (H).
- YVR Sashi Sekhar (IPS:2022:HY), Additional SP, Nuh, has been transferred and posted as DCP, West, Gurugram.
- Deepika Aggarwal (IPS:2023:HY), has been posted as ASP, Rewari.
- Ravinder Kumar (IPS:2024:HY), has been posted as ASP, Karnal.
