Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the name of Jharkhand (present)High Court Judge DN Patel as the new Chief Justice of Delhi High Court. Office of the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court would be falling vacant very shortly, consequent upon retirement of Mr. Justice Rajendra Menon, Chief Justice of that High Court. Therefore, appointment to that office is required to be made.
