New Delhi: Rajarshi Dhar, General Manager (HR)/HoD (PRB), Coal India Limited, has been recommended for appointment as Director (Personnel), Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB).
The recommendation was made during the PESB selection meeting held on August 13, 2026. His name will now be forwarded to the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) for final approval.
The appointment will be subject to vigilance clearance and completion of other prescribed formalities.
A total of 10 candidates appeared before the PESB selection panel. They were:
- Rathin Mitra, General Manager (Coordination), Coal India Limited
- Rajesh V Nair, General Manager (HR)/HOD – Policy Cell, Rajbhasha and Appeal, Coal India Limited
- Suvankar Parida, General Manager (HR) Manpower/EE, Hqrs, South Eastern Coalfields Limited
- Ajay Behera, General Manager (HR), South Eastern Coalfields Limited
- Rajarshi Dhar, General Manager (HR)/HoD (PRB), Coal India Limited
- Sukadev Seth, General Manager (HR/Sec), Mahanadi Coalfields Limited
- Suman Rastogi, General Manager (HR), CCL (HQ), Central Coalfields Limited
- Samir Barla, General Manager (HR), Northern Coalfields Limited
- Anupam Borah, General Manager (HR), New Delhi, Engineers India Limited
- Rajendra Kumar Agrawal, Additional Secretary (RKA), Department of Personnel and Training.
