Building a Healthier Viksit Bharat: Chhattisgarh Governor flags off Six REC-supported Mobile Medical Units worth ₹7.21 Crore

REC Limited flags off six Mobile Medical Units worth ₹7.21 crore in Chhattisgarh under its CSR initiative to strengthen last-mile healthcare delivery.

Raipur: Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, REC Limited on Saturday (August 15, 2026) flagged off six Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) worth ₹7.21 crore to strengthen last-mile healthcare delivery in underserved areas of Chhattisgarh.

The MMUs were flagged off by Chhattisgarh Governor Shri Ramen Deka at Lok Bhawan, Chhattisgarh, in the presence of Satyaban Sahoo, Chief Project Manager (CPM), Regional Office Raipur, REC Limited, along with officials from REC Limited and the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Chhattisgarh.

The initiative aims to bridge healthcare gaps by bringing essential medical services closer to communities in underserved areas of the state.

Through the CSR initiative, REC Limited is seeking to strengthen last-mile healthcare delivery and promote inclusive and sustainable development, contributing to the vision of a healthier and more inclusive Viksit Bharat.
