IPS Veenu Bansal given posting as Joint CP, SPUWAC & SPUNER

New Delhi: Senior IPS officer Veenu Bansal (IPS:2004:AGMUT) has been transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner of Police, SPUWAC & SPUNER.

According to the Delhi Police transfer order issued on August 18, 2026, Bansal, who was serving as Joint CP, attached to Delhi Police Headquarters, has been assigned the new posting with immediate effect.

The Delhi Police subsequently appointed Atmaram Vasudeo Deshpande (IPS:2006:AGMUT) as Joint CP, Rashtrapati Bhawan, replacing Bansal. Deshpande was earlier serving as Joint CP, Operations (PCR & Communication), with additional charge of Licensing.

Bansal’s latest posting as Joint CP, SPUWAC & SPUNER comes as part of the larger Delhi Police reshuffle involving 43 officers, including 41 IPS officers, announced on August 18.
