J&K: 5 IPS officers transferred, H K Lohia posted as DG, Prisons

The Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday (03.08.2022) issued transfer and posting orders for five IPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. B Srinivas (IPS:1990:AGMUT), Director General of Police, Prisons with additional charge of Director, Fire & Emergency Services, is transferred and posted as Commandant General, HG/CD & SDRF.
2. H K Lohia (IPS:1992: AGMUT ), ADGP, Commandant General, HG/CD & SDRF, is transferred and posted as Director General, Prisons.
3. Garib Das (IPS:1997: AGMUT ), IGP (Hqrs) PHQ, upon his promotion to the grade of ADGP, is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Civil Military Liaison, Home Department.
4. Alok Kumar (IPS:1997: AGMUT ), IGP (CIV), PHQ, upon his promotion to the grade of ADGP, is transferred and posted as Director, Fire & Emergency Services.
5. Bhim Sen Tuti (IPS:2004: AGMUT ), awaiting posting in PHQ, is posted as IGP (Hqrs), PHQ with additional charge of IGP, (CIV) PHQ.
