Himachal Pradesh transfers 18 IAS officers; Sudesh Kumar Mokhta posted as Secretary, Cooperation

The Himachal Pradesh government on Monday (July 6, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for 18 IAS officers with immediate effect. The reshuffle includes changes at the level of Principal Secretary, Secretary, Managing Director, Director, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Sub Divisional Officer (Civil).

The names of the officers and their posting are as follows:

1. Dr. Abhishek Jain (IAS:2002:HP), Advisor (Regulatory Reforms), Himachal Pradesh, New Delhi; Principal Secretary (Finance, Planning, Economics & Statistics and 20 Point Programme); Principal Secretary (JSV); and Principal Secretary (Technical Education), has been given additional charge of Financial Commissioner (Appeals).
2. Sudesh Kumar Mokhta (IAS:2010:HP), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Secretary (Cooperation).
3. Amarjeet Singh (IAS:2010:HP), Secretary (Cooperation) with additional charge of Secretary (Town & Country Planning & Housing) and Secretary (Home), has been transferred and posted as Secretary (Town & Country Planning & Housing). He will continue to hold the additional charge of Secretary (Home).
4. Torul S. Raveesh (IAS:2016:HP), Managing Director, HP State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. and Managing Director, General Industries Corporation Ltd., has been transferred and posted as Director, Land Records.
5. Abhishek Verma (IAS:2018:HP), Director, Land Records, holding additional charge of Managing Director, HP MILKFED, has been transferred and posted as Director, HP MILKFED.
6. Ajay Kumar Yadav (IAS:2018:HP), Managing Director, HP Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation and Managing Director, Mahila Vikas Nigam, Solan, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Himachal Pradesh Medical Services Corporation, Shimla.
7. Mahendra Pal Gurjar (IAS:2018:HP), Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development)-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Una, has been posted as Director (Personnel & Finance), HP Power Transmission Corporation Ltd., Shimla.
8. Vinay Kumar (IAS:2018:HP), Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development)-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Kangra, has been given additional charge of Managing Director, HP State Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation, Kangra.
9. Rahul Jain (IAS:2019:HP), Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development)-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Solan, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, HP Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation and Managing Director, Mahila Vikas Nigam, Solan. He will also hold the additional charge of Registrar, Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry, Nauni, and Administrator, Manav Bharti University, Solan.
10. Divyanshu Singal (IAS:2020:HP), Managing Director, HP State Handicrafts and Handloom Corporation, holding additional charge of Managing Director, Himachal Pradesh Medical Services Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development)-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Solan.
11. Om Kant Thakur (IAS:2020:HP), Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development)-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Bilaspur, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, HP State Handicrafts and Handloom Corporation, Shimla.
12. Gursimar Singh (IAS:2020:HP), Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development)-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Mandi, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, General Industries Corporation Ltd., Shimla.
13. Ishant Jaswal (IAS:2021:HP), Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Kangra, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development)-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Una.
14. Rupinder Kaur (IAS:2021:HP), Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Mandi, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development)-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Bilaspur.
15. Dr. Rajdeep Singh (IAS:2021:HP), Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Bilaspur, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Solan.
16. Priyanshu Khati (IAS:2022:HP), Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Chamba, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development)-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Mandi.
17. Anjali Garg (IAS:2023:HP), Assistant Commissioner (Development)-cum-Block Development Officer, Nahan, Sirmaur, has been transferred and posted as Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Kangra.
18. Chandra Prakash (IAS:2023:HP), Assistant Commissioner (Development)-cum-Block Development Officer, Bhawarna, Kangra, has been transferred and posted as Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Mandi.
