The Karnataka government on Tuesday (June 30, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for four IAS officers, assigning them to key positions across various departments and public sector undertakings.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:
- Abhiram G Sankar (IAS:2011:KN), who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as Managing Director, Karnataka Mining Environment Restoration Corporation (KMERC), Bengaluru, replacing Dr. Sanjay S. Bijjur (IFS), who retired on superannuation on June 30, 2026.
- Dr. Avinash Menon Rajendran (IAS:2013:KN), also awaiting posting, has been posted as Director, Information Technology and Biotechnology, Bengaluru. He has additionally been given concurrent charge as Managing Director, Karnataka State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (KEONICS), Bengaluru.
- Yogeesh AM (IAS:2013:KN), who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as Director, Department of Agricultural Marketing, Bengaluru.
- Divya Prabhu GRJ (IAS:2014:KN), who was awaiting posting, has been posted as Commissioner for Rural Development, Bengaluru.
