Senior diplomat Dinesh Bhatia (IFS:1992) was in Monday (25.11.2024) appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Federative Republic of Brazil. Currently, he is serving as Ambassador of India to the Republic of Argentina and is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
In a statement, the MEA said, ” Shri Dinesh Bhatia (IFS:1992), presently Ambassador of India to the Republic of Argentina has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Federative Republic of Brazil.”
“He is expected to take up the assignment shortly,” the statement added.
He is serving as Ambassador of India to Argentina since August 2019, and his accreditation also extended to Uruguay and Paraguay until February 2022.
