Manoj Kumar Gupta returns to parent cadre

Manoj Kumar Gupta (ISS:2004), Director, Ministry of Labour & Employment has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (17.11.2022), the competent authority has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Labour & Employment to repatriate Mr. Gupta to his parent cadre on the grounds of availing benefits of promotion in the cadre.

Sanjay Kumar appointed as Deputy Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH

Sanjay Kumar (IOFS:2011) has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of AYUSH, Delhi. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (17.11.2022), the central government has approved the appointment of Mr. Kumar to the post for a period upto 29.02.2024 (i.e. till G-20 Secretariat is functional), which is further extendable up to admissible tenure under the central staffing scheme or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

WB: 40 IPS officers shifted

In West Bengal, 40 IPS officers were transferred as part of a major overhaul of the police administration.

Supreme Court Collegium recommends transfer of 3 HC Judges

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the transfer of three High Court judges. The Collegium, in its first meeting held under the Chairmanship of Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud on Wednesday, decided to transfer Gujarat High Court Judge, Justice Nikhil S Kariel, along with Telangana High Court Judge, Justice A Abhishek Reddy, to Patna High Court.

Besides, it recommended transfer of acting Chief Justice of Madras High Court, Justice T Raja to Rajasthan High Court.

Patna High Court has a sanctioned strength of 53 judges while it is working with 34 judges having 19 vacant posts.

Delhi: Two IAS officers shifted, Vikas Anand posted as Secretary, PWD

The Delhi government has reshuffled two IAS officers with immediate effect.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

  1. Vikas Anand (IAS:2002:AGMUT): Secretary, PWD.
  2. Prince Dhawan (IAS:2012:AGMUT): Deputy Commissioner, West, Revenue Department with additional charges of Special Secretary, IT and Executive Director, GSDL.

CBIC: 09 IRS officers promoted to Pr.CC/Pr.DG grade

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the empanelment of nine officers for promotion to the grade of Principal Chief Commissioner/Principal Director General of Customs and Indirect Taxes in the Indian Revenue Service (Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs), for the panel year 2022.

They are;

  2. Hemambika R Priya
  3. Shyam Raj Prasad
  4. B V Sivanaga Kumari
  5. Ajay Ganesh Ubale

CPCL CVO Venkateshwarlu Tirupati Josyula gets addl. charge of CVO, MRPL

Venkateshwarlu Tirupati Josyula (IPoS:1994), CVO of Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (CPCL) has been given additional charge of the post of CVO, Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL) for further period of six months. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (15.11.2022), the competent authority has approved the proposal for entrustment of additional charge of the post of CVO, MRPL to Mr. Josyula for a further period of six months beyond 04.11.2022 or till the appointment of a regular CVO or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Shanti Priye Beck gets addl. charge of CVO, RVNL

Shanti Priye Beck (IRSSE:1991), Executive Director/Vigilance (S&T), Ministry of Railways has been given additional charge of the post of CVO, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL), Delhi for a period of three months. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (15.11.2022), the competent authority has approved the proposal for entrustment of additional charge of the post of CVO, RVNL to Ms. Beck for a period of three months from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Krishna Kumar Pilli appointed as CVO, Electronics Corporation of India Ltd

Krishna Kumar Pilli (ITS:1993) has been appointed as CVO of Electronics Corporation of India Ltd (ECIL), Hyderabad. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (14.11.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr. Pilli to the post of CVO, ECIL for a combined deputation tenure of 7 years upto 31.07.2027 (i.e. upto the date of his superannuation) from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Anurag Prasad appointed as CVO, MMTC

Anurag Prasad (IRS-IT:1991) has been appointed as CVO of Minerals & Metals Trading Corporation Ltd. (MMTC), Delhi for a period of three years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (14.11.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr. Prasad to the post of CVO, MMTC for an initial period of three years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
