Rudolf Alvares appointed as Deputy Director in Wildlife Crime Control Bureau

Rudolf Alvares (IPS:2009:MP) has been appointed as Deputy Director of Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB). According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on 14.11.2022, the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Alvares to the post earmarked for Indian Police Service under non-CSS at the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change on deputation basis.

E Sai Charan Tejaswi (IPS:2014:TN) has been appointed as Assistant Director in Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA), Hyderabad for a period of five years. According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on 07.11.2022, the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Tejaswi to the post on deputation basis for a period of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

FSIB recommends Samuel Joseph Jebaraj as DMD (L&PF) in NaBFID

The Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB) on Friday (25.11.2022) recommended Samuel Joseph Jebaraj as the Deputy Managing Director (Lending and Project Finance) of National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFIB).

The headhunter for state-owned banks and financial institutions selected DMD for NaBFIB after interviewing 12 shortlisted candidates on November 25, 2022.

The final decision on the recommendation of FSIB would be taken by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Mr. Jebaraj is presently serving as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) on the Board of the IDBI Bank. Prior to joining IDBI Bank, he served in EXIM Bank from July 1998 up to September 2019 in various capacities viz. HR, Loan Recovery, SME, Corporate Banking, Treasury etc. He has led number of consultancy assignments for setting up a Commonwealth Exim Bank, Trade Finance Facility for Small Island States for the Commonwealth Secretariat in London, Introduction of Film Financing program for the Exim Bank of Nigeria, Setting up of an Exim Bank for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, etc.

Haryana: Anish Yadav gets additional responsibilities

(DRIISHYA), has been given additional charges of District Municipal Commissioner, Karnal, and Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Karnal.

Bihar: Three IAS and One IFS officer shifted

The Bihar government on Tuesday (22.11.2022) issued transfer and posting orders for three IAS and one IFS officer.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

  1. Kaushal Kishore (IAS:2010:BH), Additional Secretary, Health Department, has been transferred and posted as Director of ICDS.
  2. Baidyanath Yadav (IAS:2007:BH), Registrar of the Co-operation Societies, has been given the additional charge of Special Secretary, Rural Works Department.
  3. Omprakash Yadav (IAS:2008:BH), Special Secretary, Environment, Forest and Climate Change, has been given the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination (BBOSE)
  4. Alok Kumar (IFoS:2012:BH), who was currently posted as Director, ICDS has been returned to his parent department, Environment Forest and Climate Change Department.

Dr. Bappaditya Dutta (IOFS:2012) has been appointed to the post of Deputy Secretary in the Office of Custodian of Enemy Property for India (CEPI), Kolkata for a period of four years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (25.11.2022), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Dutta to the post on deputation basis for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

ACC clears appointment of CVOs in five PSUs

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Friday (25.11.2022) approved the appointment of Chief Vigilance Officers (CVOs) in five Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).

They are ;

  1. Sunil Kumar Sharma (ITS:1999) has been appointed as CVO, India Tourism Development Corporation Limited (ITDC), Delhi for a period of three years.
  2. Thillaivasan Prabhu (IOFS:2001) has been appointed as CVO, Cochin Port Authority, Kochi for a period of three years.
  3. Ganesh S Bhat (IFoS:2003:UP) has been appointed as CVO, Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL), Mangaluru for a period of three years.
  4. Manoj Kumar Maurya (IOFS:2001) has been appointed as CVO, Geological Survey of India (GSI), Kolkata for a period of three years.
  5. Ajay Madhukar Mhetre (ITS:1998) has been appointed as CVO, Western Coalfields Ltd (WCL), Nagpur for a period of three years.

Chirra Achalender Reddy (Retd.IFoS:1986:AGMUT), Former Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Department of Environment and Forests, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, has been appointed as Chairperson, National Biodiversity Authority (NBA). The Appointments Committee of the cabinet on Friday approved the appointment of Mr. Reddy to the post of Chairman of NBA.
