The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on Wednesday (30.11.2022) issued transfer and posting orders of 33 officers in the grade of Commissioner, Additional, Joint, and Deputy Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes.

The Union government on Tuesday (29.11.2022) notified appointment of two Advocates as Additional Judges of the Bombay High Court. They have been appointed for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.

The Supreme Court collegium on September 12 approved the proposal to elevate two Advocates as Additional Judges of the Bombay High Court and sent the recommendations to the President.
Asif Ismail (IOFS:2012) has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, Delhi. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (30.11.2022), the central government has approved the Department of Defence to appoint Mr. Ismail to the post for a period upto 29.02.2024 (i.e. till G-20 Secretariat is functional), which is further extendable up to admissible tenure under the central staffing scheme or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Navjot Khosa (IAS:2012:KL) has been appointed as Director of Census (DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration (DCR) (Director level), Punjab & Chandigarh. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (30.11.2022), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Ms. Khosa to the post under the central staffing scheme with effect from 19.12.2022 or the date of taking over charge of the post, whichever is later, and for a period upto 31.12.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Tanvi Garg (IAS:2009:AGMUT) has been selected for appointment to the post of Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Delhi for the Central Vista Project for a period of four years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (30.11.2022), the central government has approved the appointment of Ms. Garg to the post under the central staffing scheme for a period of four years from the date of taking over the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Rajesh Kumar Sahu (ITS:1999) has been selected for appointment to the post of Director in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Delhi for the Central Vista Project for a period of five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (30.11.2022), the central government has approved the appointment of Mr. Sahu to the post under the central staffing scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Dr. Nirupama Dange (IAS:2007:MH) has been appointed as Director of Census (DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration (DCR) (Director level), Maharashtra. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (30.11.2022), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Dange to the post under the central staffing scheme with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post and for a period upto 31.12.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Debajyoti Dutta (IAS:2010:AM) has been appointed as Director of Census (DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration (DCR) (Deputy Secretary level), Assam. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (30.11.2022), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Dutta to the post under the central staffing scheme with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post and for a period upto 31.12.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Preeti Jain (IPS:2009:RJ) has been selected for appointment to the post of Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, Delhi for a period of four years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (30.11.2022), the central government has approved the appointment of Ms. Jain to the post under the central staffing scheme for a period of four years from the date of taking over the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Amrit Agrahari (IRS-IT:2011) has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, Delhi. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (30.11.2022), the central government has approved the Department of Revenue to appoint Mr. Agrahari to the post for a period upto 29.02.2024 (i.e. till G-20 Secretariat is functional), which is further extendable up to admissible tenure under the central staffing scheme or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
