Assam: Six IAS officers to monitor de-silting work of GMC

The Assam government has attached the following officers to the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) as Guardian Officers for a Division of GMC. This move was taken by the Guwahati Civic Body in an attempt to coordinate and monitor de-silting activities.

They are ;

  1. Adil Khan (IAS:2011:AM), Transport Commissioner; State Project Director, Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society and Secretary, Transport and Welfare of Minorities & Dev Deptts.
  2. Manvendra Pratap Singh (IAS:2012:AM), Secretary, Act East Policy Affairs Deptt and MD, AIDC.
  3. Ghanshyam Das (IAS:2012:AM), Secretary, Personnel and Information Technology Deptts.
  4. Oinam Saran Singh (IAS:2012:AM), Commissioner, Industries & Commerce Deptt., and MD. Assam Hydrocarbon & Energy Company Ltd.
  5. Anbamuthan M P (IAS:2014:AM), Addl. Secretary, PW (Roads), Deptt with additional charge of Project Director, ARNIP and ASRIP.
  6. Bikram Kairi, Commissioner (IAS:2014:AM), Panchayat & Rural Development.

These officers have been given charge of new duties in addition to their existing duties.

Assam: Akash Deep gets addl. charge of State Project Director, ARIAS Society

Akash Deep (IAS:2005:AM), Commissioner & Secretary, Environment & Forest Department with additional charge as Development Commissioner, Hill Areas has been given additional charge of State Project Director, ARIAS Society.

The Madhya Pradesh government on Friday (02.11.2022) issued transfer and posting orders for four IPS officers.

Sushma Chauhan appointed as Deputy Secretary in MHA

Ms. Sushma Chauhan (IAS:2009:AGMUT) has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs for a period of four years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (02.12.2022), the central government has appointed Ms. Chauhan to the post for a period of four years under the central staffing scheme from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Hema Jaiswal repatriated to parent cadre

Ms. Hema Jaiswal (ISS:2004), Director, Department of Expenditure, has been prematurely repatriated to her parent cadre. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (02.12.2022), the competent authority has approved the proposal to repatriate Ms. Jaiswal to her parent cadre to avail the benefit of promotion.

Shivam Srivastava selected as Director(Fuel), NTPC Limited

Shivam Srivastava has been selected for the post of Director(Fuel), NTPC Limited at a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on December 02. Presently, he is working as Chief General Manager, NTPC Limited.

He will be appointed to the post of Director(Fuel), after receiving vigilance clearances and an approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.

The following 10 applicants were interviewed in the selection meeting :
