Assam: Two IPS officers shifted, P S Changmai posted as IGP, Border

The Assam government on Wednesday (22.03.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for two IPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Akhilesh Kumar Singh (IPS:2003:AM), IGP, STF & Border, Srimantapur, Guwahati has been given additional charge of IGP, T & AP, Ulubari, Guwahati and he relieved from the charge of IGP, Border, Srimantapur.
2. Prasanta Sagar Changmai (IPS-SPS:2005:AM), IGP, T & AP, Ulubari, Guwahati, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Border, Srimantapur.
