Senior IAS officer Aditya Nath Das (IAS:1987:AP) was on Tuesday appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh. He will take over from incumbent Nilam Sawhney (IAS:1984:AP), who will retire from service on December 31. She will be appointed as the Chief Secretary’s Principal Advisor after completing her tenure.
The government has made minor changes to the administration by appointing Syamala Rao (IAS:1997:AP) as Irrigation Department secretary, Sri Lakshmi (IAS:1988:AP) as secretary to MA & UD Development, K Sunitha (SCS:1996:AP) as secretary to Social Welfare respectively.
