New Delhi: Tamil Nadu cadre senior IAS officer Rajendra Kumar (IAS:1992:TN), Secretary, Department of Border Management, has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Inter State Council Secretariat. He will succeed Ashish Srivastava (IAS:1992:MP), who is due to retire on October 31, 2026.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (October 30, 2026), the competent authority has approved the assignment of the additional charge to Rajendra Kumar with immediate effect. He will hold the charge until the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
