New Delhi: IAS officer Nidhi Choudhari (IAS:2012:MH), currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA) under the Ministry of Culture, has been re-designated as Director.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (August 7, 2026), the competent authority has approved the proposal for re-designation of her post from Deputy Secretary to Director as a measure personal to her.
The re-designation will take effect from the date of assumption of charge of the re-designated post and will remain valid up to August 20, 2029, the total admissible five-year tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme.
