Senior IAS officer Vumlunmang Vualnam (IAS:1992:MN), currently serving as Secretary in the Department of Expenditure, has been given additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (April 30, 2026), the competent authority has approved the assignment of additional charge of the post to Vumlunmang Vualnam from May 1, 2026 to May 10, 2026 during the period of absence on leave or Deepti Gaur Mukherji (IAS:1993:MP).
