Senior IAS officer Brajendra Navnit (IAS:1999:TN) has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the 8th Central Pay Commission under the Department of Expenditure. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (April 30, 2026), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved his appointment to the post for an overall period of four years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders.
Brajendra Navnit is currently serving in the cadre as Principal Secretary, Information Technology and Digital Services Department, Tamil Nadu.
