In a key development, Tripti Gurha (IRTS:1993), currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Women & Child Development, has been prematurely repatriated to her parent cadre.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (October 13, 2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved her repatriation to her cadre on personal grounds, with the imposition of extended cooling-off.
Ms. Gurha has been associated with the Ministry of Women & Child Development since August 2021, when she was appointed as Joint Secretary for five years. Following her empanelment as Additional Secretary in December 2023, she was subsequently elevated to the post in January 2024.
